About LYC

Practical AI for the work businesses already do.

LYC Business AI helps New Zealand businesses reduce repetitive admin by building one focused workflow at a time.

Why this exists

Useful business AI should fit the business, not ask the business to become a lab.

I’m Mackenzie Conor James Clark, a New Zealand sole trader trading as LYC Business AI. I started it because many businesses have the same practical problem: valuable time is lost copying information, checking details, chasing answers and preparing work that still needs a person to approve.

LYC starts with the work a business already does: what arrives, what needs checking, how prices are calculated, and what the finished draft should look like. From there I configure one focused tool and test it against realistic examples.

The goal is simple: save useful time without forcing a business to replace every system it already uses. The owner reviews the work, decides what changes, and chooses whether it is worth continuing.

The work behind the product

A practical path from workflow to working tool.

We understand the task, configure the business information and rules it needs, then test the result before day-to-day use.

01

Understand the work

Start with what actually arrives, what people do, what gets checked, and where a task waits or breaks.

02

Configure one workflow

Turn the business's current information, rules and templates into a focused working tool.

03

Test it with realistic examples

Check normal jobs, missing information and unusual cases before using it in day-to-day work.

How I work

Four principles keep the work useful.

Solve one useful problem

Start with a task that repeatedly costs the business time or creates avoidable mistakes.

Use the business's rules

Pricing, exclusions and required details come from the business, not from a generic answer.

Show what is missing

Incomplete or conflicting information becomes a clear question for the person reviewing the work.

Improve from real use

Track the time saved, corrections needed and cases that still require manual work.

Where LYC is now

Early, working, and ready for the first real business workflow.

The product is in active development. The public demonstration uses fictional data and is not a customer result.

The next step is to work through one repetitive business task, decide whether QuoteForge fits it, and test the result together. There are no customer case studies or savings claims yet.

Have one workflow worth understanding?

Tell me where the work gets repetitive. We can walk through the current process and see whether one focused tool would genuinely help.
