EARLY-STAGE WEBSITE NOTICE — NOT LEGALLY REVIEWED.
This public page describes the current website-only position in plain language. It is not legal advice or a substitute for professional review. Any pilot or customer data handling must be defined in a separate written agreement and reviewed as appropriate before customer work begins.
1. What this policy covers
This policy covers the LYC Business AI website and the information collected through this website. It does not cover customer systems, customer deployments or data processed through LYC Business AI products — those are governed by separate agreements.
The operator is Mackenzie Conor James Clark trading as LYC Business AI, New Zealand.
2. What the website collects
When you visit this website, standard web server logs may collect IP addresses, browser type, pages visited and referrer information. This data is used for operational and security purposes.
The public form currently has no live endpoint. Typing into it does not send the information to LYC Business AI. If you choose the direct email link, your email app and mail providers handle the message you send. This site does not confirm delivery.
3. Why data is collected
Website logs: operational security, abuse prevention, and server performance monitoring.
Enquiries received by direct email are used to respond and to determine whether the described workflow is a sensible fit for a controlled pilot.
4. Where form data is sent and stored
Form fields are currently processed in your browser and are not sent to a LYC server. A valid form submission instead prepares a mailto link for you to choose. Direct email is transmitted by your email provider and may be processed by the providers used to deliver and receive it. The website notice and this policy must be updated before any live form endpoint is enabled.
5. Who can access it
Mackenzie Conor James Clark handles enquiries received for LYC Business AI. Email and hosting providers may process technical or message data to provide their services. LYC does not sell or provide enquiry data to third parties for advertising.
6. Retention and deletion
Direct-email enquiries are kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, assess fit and retain necessary business records. You may request access, correction or deletion by emailing the address below, subject to any lawful retention requirement.
7. Analytics and cookies
The website currently sets no non-essential cookies. Analytics are optional and configurable. If analytics are added in the future, the smallest privacy-respecting configuration will be used and this policy will be updated to disclose it accurately.
8. Third-party processors
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages. Its infrastructure may process standard request data. LYC has not added a live form endpoint, third-party analytics, advertising or tracking service to this site.
9. Submitting an inquiry does not authorise system access
Submitting a contact form does not authorise LYC Business AI to access your systems, create a production agent, or begin processing your business data. Those steps require a separate written agreement after workflow discovery, fit confirmation and appropriate professional review of the relevant terms and data handling.
